COPS SHOOT SIX ROBBERS DEAD newsdzeZimbabweNewsdzeZimbabwe

Six armed thieves were killed yesterday in an exchange of fire with investigators near the Bollywyu Victor Fols Gate.

The thieves resisted orders from the investigators and began shooting at the officers leading to an exchange of fire, according to the police.

In a statement, the official commissioner of the National Police Police reported that there was no return in the battle against armed robbery unions in the country.

He said that any form of confrontation will be answered by criminals with the appropriate force.

“The Zimbabwe Republic police confirm a shooting incident with six armed robbery suspects along the Pollao Victoria Falls on March 18, 2025 between 2 am and 4 am,” said Comm Nyathi.

He stated that the suspects spent all day to monitor and drink beer in the young money dealer store, enzyme.

“They later passed on to two complaints while they were armed with pistols, knives and axes.

“The suspects continued to link the hands of the complainants to the electric cables before covering their faces with the blankets.

“They demanded gold and criticism.

“They loaded the looting in the Honda Silver Car, the Recovery, and the registration (AEY 4843).

“One of the complainants alerted the employer who quickly informed him of the police.”

He added: “A test along the Victoria Fols road has monitored the Honda Vit Vehicle, as it was moving towards the graphics gate.

“The suspected investigators ordered the stop and resisted.

“They were arrested and transferred to UNIDAWAWAWO Hospitals, where they were all transferred.

“The police recovered two pistols with four live rounds, two guns operating in the gas, and two knives and ax.

“Some of the properties that were stolen from the complainants were recovered, which include groceries, lithium and inverter battery, nine gas tank and amplifier from the car,” said comm Nyathi. H Metro
