BLOOD THEFTS : HOSP WORKERS CLEARED newsdzeZimbabweNewsdzeZimbabwe

Massfo Hospital’s laboratory staff who were in court were acquitted due to the alleged bloodshed in the hospital recently by the Massfango Judge Arafat Kozanai.

Godson Dzwalininga (50) laboratory scientist and Tchuna Shindy (36) accused a laboratory technician of stealing three blood units with 400 empty normal tubes that have a total value of $ 822.

The Monday was acquitted on the basis that the police failed to conduct appropriate investigations about whether the normal empty tubes belong to Massfigo County Hospital or private hospitals where they were transferred to them.

The judge said that the evidence presented before the court does not carry any water. He said that there is no evidence linking the two to the crimes they were arrested for. He said that the police failed to conduct appropriate investigations and the court was not able to engage in administrative cases at the Massfigo County Hospital.

On January 28, 2025, the state case was about 1500 hours.

Then Mashakada examined the identical blood record and nothing was recorded to indicate that the blood units were collected from the blood stocks that were in the refrigerator.

On January 31, 2025, the complainant submitted the police report and investigations led to the arrest of the two.

More investigations resulted in 229 easy -to -blood pipes in the blood 229 red and 100 EDTA purple.

In the defendant’s defense, they stated that since 12 people managed to reach the refrigerator where the blood was stored and there was another person alongside the accused had taken blood.
