On Thursday, regional judge, Tindy Motamba, disavowed a man from Moyenzi of rape after he concluded that the alleged victim had hidden motives.
The judge concluded that the girl (whom the name has been withheld) wasted the money of Tiro Mazmbi (33) and weakened it from her rape. The minor is 13 years old.
Judge Motamba also said that the minor had to report rape by her mother a year later.
The court also told the evidence that there was bad blood between the two families.
The allegations against MZIBI from MATEDZI, MazeSe, MWNEZI at some point in July 2023 MZIBI called the minor and her young sister to his home.
MZIMBI remained in their home as connected. It is claimed that MZIMBI sent the younger sister home and raped his victim.
This issue appeared when her young sister visited her mother in Pitbridge and told her that her older sister was abused.
The mother later informed the case that led to the arrest of MZIMBI in January 2025.
MZIMBI told the court that the girl was trying to cover up his money that she wasted.
