FOUR BRIBE SEEKING ZIMRA WORKERS DRAGGED TO COURT newsdzeZimbabweNewsdzeZimbabwe

Four Zimra employees were arrested on charges of demanding bribes in exchange for the release of confiscated goods.

The arrested individuals – Gwatirinda Paul (42), Mutuwira Obert (40), Humaira Simone Tafaguta (38) and Maguta Jonathan (38) – made their first court appearance before Harare Magistrate Mr. Turay Manwere, facing charges of abuse. Use the position.

In a statement, Zimra stressed her commitment to transparency and accountability, stressing that she does not condone any form of corruption.

“ZIMRA wishes to address recent allegations regarding four of our officials accused of extortion and criminal abuse of power.
