President Mnangagwa commissioned the Zimbabwe Defense Forces Dzivarasekwa Housing Project.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defense Forces also handed over 54 Ford Ranger vehicles to the ZDF.
These vehicles will enable the Defense Forces to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively, in line with the goals of the country’s Vision 2030.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, President Mnangagwa said the government was committed to providing modern, affordable and safe homes to both public servants and the general citizenry.
He said: “In line with Vision 2030, the Second Republic, under my leadership, is working to facilitate the provision of housing, which is a basic and fundamental need.”
“Providing adequate housing and safe work spaces are among the critical enablers for our forces to focus on their fundamental and most important contribution to the modernization, industrialization and growth of our economy.” Herald
