A truck driver is in trouble after Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) CEO Douglas Zimbango threatened to reinstate the company’s suspended HR director.
Truck driver Cosmas Kazuzo (45) allegedly sent a message posing as Matiniadze from the office of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.
Kazuzu made several calls to Zimbango in which he threatened to expose the alleged involvement of ZCDC officials in the diamond theft.
The truck driver, who appeared on Friday before Magistrate Tapiwa Banda, was remanded in custody and is expected to apply for bail today.
