Vice President Kembo Mohadi says expatriates should invest in their home country to take advantage of the country’s many investment opportunities.
“I have come here at the invitation of the Government of Lesotho on behalf of President Mnangagwa to attend the Bicentenary and Independence Day.
We met our citizens here to appreciate their issues and challenges. As a Government, we are committed to the well-being of our people at home and abroad, and I have already assured them that we will look into matters through our mission in South Africa and the Department of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage.
“In addition to our promise, we encourage our diaspora community to leverage Zimbabwe’s open business mantra and seize opportunities to engage in national economic development matters.
“At the same time, we welcome investment from Lesotho as we currently have a lot of skills transfer programs where we learn from each other.”
“They are called upon to invest in Zimbabwe’s many sectors, create jobs and develop infrastructure.”
He spoke in an interview with the Herald newspaper after concluding a three-day visit to Lesotho.
