FIVE GIRLS KILLED BY CAR BURIED newsdzeZimbabweNewsdzeZimbabwe


The five girls who were hit by a car were buried in Bindura. The five are Rachel Saidi (13), Makanaka Nimehara (9), Ashley Mabika (13), Tshepo Chikanda (13) and Miseuse Benjamin (14).

Among the group, Achille Mabhika (11 years old) survived. The Herald reported that Mr Albert Mabhika lost his daughter, Ashley, and that his second daughter, Achille, is currently fighting for her life in Bindura Hospital.

Mr Mabhika said: “From what I heard, my daughters, along with Tshepo and Misosi, left the compound to visit their cousin Rachel. They wanted to go shopping for clothes in Bindura when the car hit them. They were heading towards town with their backs to the car when they were hit. I can’t explain the pain I’m feeling and I don’t know how “I will overcome this sadness.”

Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Delegation Christopher Magomo, Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Delegation, Zanu PF and government officials visited the families to extend their condolences to the bereaved families.

A funeral for the five girls was held with state assistance and they were buried in the Makosha cemetery in Bindura.
