Nelson Chamisa’s brother, Starman, a former MP for Mbare, has been filmed attacking his ex-girlfriend, Conservative MP for Southerton, Ms Bridget Nyandoro.
She told the Herald she did not have any bruises because the beating did not last long, but she “sprained my neck, which still hurts.” She is taking painkillers.

Starman accused Chamisa of being an irresponsible father who deprives his child of the benefits of a father’s presence in the child’s life.
“The reason he physically assaulted me was because I asked him to pay our child’s school fees.
“He doesn’t want to be responsible for his child. Every time I ask him for money for the child’s fees and maintenance, he starts telling me that the child is not his and I should do a DNA test.
“I don’t know what’s stopping him from taking tests. The next day he booked into a DNA center in Eastleigh and then refused to undergo tests. This was in the presence of one of his lawyers.”
