A family of four, a father, his two children and his brother’s child, died instantly last Monday after the Toyota Wish car they were traveling in from Zvishavane to Harare veered off the road at the Butrikwa Cliffs in Shorugwe and hit a tree.
The sources said that the driver of the car that survived the accident was speeding. There were eight passengers on board the car, and the injured were taken to the hospital. The accident occurred at a black point known as Al-Jazzar.
Midlands Police spokesperson Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the incident occurred at around 6pm.
The deceased are Tinashe Mavulisa, Thabani Mavulisa, Shalom Mavulisa and their father Tremor Mavulisa (47 years old). Masvingo mirror
