Madzibaba Ismail faces allegations of raping five minors and fathering six children with them.
Among the minors, the youngest was 13 years old and the oldest was 16 years old These incidents are believed to have occurred between 2018 and early this year.
He was advised to approach the Supreme Court for bail considerations.
He spent just hours at home after being released on bail before being dragged to Norton Court where he was charged with five counts of rape.
Madzbaba Ismail was released on bail last Friday, after spending 45 days in remand prison.
The Supreme Court granted him bail of $1,000.
But on Saturday, he was back in court and remanded in prison, where he now faces charges of raping five minors.
The state said Madzbaba Ismail had sex with her first minor child when she was 13, resulting in the birth of one infant.
He allegedly had sexual relations with another teenager (14 years old), which resulted in the birth of two children.
Madzbaba Ismail allegedly had the same sexual relations with two other 15-year-old girls, with whom he had two children.
Once again, the cult leader had sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl, which resulted in the birth of another child.
In total he allegedly fathered six children with five teenagers.
The case was postponed to May 7.
His lawyer, Purity Chikangis, vowed to get the sect leader out on bail, arguing that the Supreme Court had already ruled that he was eligible for bail.
She is set to base her arguments on Madzbaba Ismail’s health, which is deteriorating, as he is believed to be recovering from a poisoning incident that occurred last year.
Madzibaba Ismail was initially arrested for breaching Section 3(1) and (2) of the Burial and Cremation Act 5:03 and Section 7(1) and (5) of the Children Act 5:06.
He is jointly accused with Takafenjwa Gwenzi (55), Siribinyo Chikunyere (53), Wonder Kabaya (41), Devlodge Katsande (47), Zebediah Cejudo (49), Aaron Chukurungirwa (47) and Shinjirai Ngavaphum. h metro
