PRISON GUARD STEALS FROM GOVT COMPLEX newsdzeZimbabweNewsdzeZimbabwe

In an ironic turn of events, a suspected thief, working for the Zimbabwe Prisons and Corrections Service, has committed a robbery at the new government complex.

He stole computer equipment. Kwandokuhle Ndethi appeared in court over the weekend and faced eight counts of unlawful entry.

The court heard that on March 27, Ndithi broke into the Attorney General’s office and stole an HP monitor and two HP printers.

An HP printer was stolen from the offices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Higher Education on April 1.

He struck again in the same department on April 3 and stole three HP computers.

Ndithi then broke into the Ministry of Finance’s procurement department on April 2 and stole an HP computer printer.

He was stolen from the same department last January, walking away with six printers, a 55-inch television and a power bank.

His luck ran out and he was caught stealing last week. He led police to recover some equipment. h metro
