A trio of sex workers, based at Gale Court in Harare, are facing charges of stealing a client during an altercation sparked by accusations that he underpaid one of them for her services.
John Mukoma, the complainant, contacted Aisha Marera who charged him US$5 for services “for a short period”.
Marera suggested they go to Gail Court, and when they arrived, she began arguing that the $5 she had been charged was not enough.
She then contacted her accomplices – Panashe Kamunho and Primrose Mudushwa, as well as the fugitive Ngoni – and they cooperated against Mukoma, demanding money from him.
They continued to assault him before stealing his phone, an Adidas watch and $40 and fleeing the scene.
Mukoma filed a police report and was able to identify his attackers.
The trio returned to court today. The trial of Thomas Chanakira. h metro
