A Zombie man has gone into hiding after fatally assaulting his brother following an altercation over a football match between Liverpool and Manchester City on Sunday evening.
The deceased, Edmore Miki (26), from Hotera village under Chief Samamboa, died in a zombie state after his brother, Peter Miki (22), hit him in the head with a stone.
The incident occurred when Peter got into an altercation with Joaquim Moyo (29) over a football match held before Edmure intervened to stop his brother who then turned on him.
Police said on Sunday at around 7pm, Edmure and Peter were watching a football match between Liverpool Football Club and Manchester City, and after the match, a misunderstanding arose between Joachim and the suspect.
Joachim was allegedly doubting that Liverpool had the “upper hand” to win the game.
It didn’t go down well with Peter, a Manchester City fan and he started throwing stones at Joachim.
Edmure Peter then refrained from attacking Joachim.
This did not go down well with Peter who then turned on his brother Edmure which led to another quarrel.
Investigations revealed that Edmure picked up a wooden chair and used it to hit Peter, who later picked up a stone and hit his brother on the head and died instantly.
A report was made to police who attended the scene and found that Edmure Mickey had a swollen face with blood coming from his head. Herald
