Interim Secretary-General of the Communist Party of China, Sengiso Chabangu, has denied reports that he has been removed from the party, saying he does not belong to the faction that announced his dismissal.
On Sunday, the CCC faction, through its interim deputy president, Mr Albert Mhlanga, announced that the party had suspended Tshabangu, but the interim secretary-general did not support any of this.
“I do not belong to this faction so it is invalid. At no time will we prosecute anyone who uses the party’s name and logo without permission from the leadership. Remember we have registered both and as soon as the Instruments Office announces these articles And publish it, this will represent the end of the road for many,” he declares
