A Moses Project family counselor has been accused by her estranged husband of falsifying medical reports to frame him on allegations that he beat her after their marriage turned sour.
The two, both divorced, now live separately.
Sibongile Chidakwa (55) and Slate Chidakwa (65) have been married for four years.
Sibongile, a Moses Project consultant, allegedly used her connections to falsify medical reports and arrest him with the sole aim of getting his property, Slate told H-Metro.
However, he said things turned when Sibongile was arrested on charges of “faking gender-based violence,” issuing a false medical report and seizing Slate’s valuables.
Sibongile was found guilty and sentenced to four months in prison, suspended on the condition that she not commit a similar offence.
“I regret marrying Sibongile. I didn’t know she was after my property,” Slate said.
“We were both married with our own children and property.
“We have no children together, but Sibongile wanted to take all my property by sending me to prison.
“She faked assault and medical reports to get me arrested.”
He added: “She slept in a police cell for two nights after forging medical documents.
“She was arrested for faking gender-based violence, issuing a fake medical report, stealing my valuables, including bank cards and trying to withdraw $80,000 USD.
“She was arrested by Southerton Police under CRB 2969/23 and 3044/23.
“She colluded with one of her brothers and took some of my property.
“I question her integrity in counseling families when they fail to save their marriage.”
Sibongile, known as Princess on Project Muse, confirmed the differences between her and Slate, but declined to provide further details.
“The issue is so sensitive that I need to sit down with you to get the details,” Sibongile said.
“I also want one of my sons to be there because he is a lawyer.
“I don’t know where my husband lives now. Maybe he revealed his location to you.” h metro
