Kenyas Mutiasira of Mubangwa & Partners, who drafted the sales agreement for the former Education Minister’s alleged illegal sale of Dzingai Mutombuka’s luxury Chisibet house in Harare, argued in court yesterday that his hands were clean.
He said he did his due diligence for the process. The prosecutor’s questioning lasted a few minutes.
Prosecutor Kudzanai Mudzamiri told that he had checked the database at the Deeds Office and indicated that the house belonged to Jonah Njom.
Asked why Harrison Marange and his wife Demetria Zieringa paid only $45,000 to buy a house worth more than $600,000, Mutiasera said Njomi was in dire need of money. Masvingo mirror
