A Harare woman was yesterday stabbed to death by a thief who allegedly tried to steal a mobile phone from her in Harare Gardens.
The victim, Norest Chimosoro, died after the unknown suspect randomly stabbed him with an unknown instrument.
National Police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the incident and said investigations were still ongoing.
“Police in Harare are investigating the murder case that occurred at Harare Gardens Park on February 8, 2024, in which Norst Chimosoro died.
“It is alleged that an unknown suspect attempted to steal a mobile phone from the victim before grabbing the victim’s hand and randomly stabbing her with an unknown object. He added: “Whoever has information should submit it to the nearest police station.” He announces
