A senior army officer has been sleeping with the wife of a junior police officer in Bulawayo since 2020, in a betrayal of trust and breach of hierarchy, H-Metro has learnt.
Colonel Chance Mkwananzi’s illicit affair with Police Sergeant Masuku’s wife, Paulette Moyo, was exposed after the Colonel’s wife, Sibongile, found nude pictures of Paulette on her husband’s mobile phone.
Sibongile approached the courts seeking US$10,000 in compensation for adultery from Polite under case CG/514/23.
“It is hurtful, cruel and cruel for a married woman to destroy another woman’s marriage,” Sibongile said.
“Grooming has affected my life and the lives of my children emotionally, psychologically and socially.
“She sends her nude pictures to my husband and abuses my husband’s cars.
“Her behavior and that of my husband are intolerable, inhuman and heartless, which is why I have decided to approach the courts for justice,” Sibongile said.
Sergeant Masuku lodged a formal complaint against Colonel Mkhwananzi’s conduct on September 20 last year.
The alleged scandalous case has become the talk of Donington where Paulette works as a supervisor at a local funeral parlor as well as the Mzilikazi Police Camp where she lives with her husband.
Polite told H-Metro through her lawyer Advocate Moyo that the matter is before the civil court.
“The case is now before the courts and we cannot comment on it at the moment,” Lawyer Moyo said. h metro
