Two zombie men who decided to go swimming after drinking beer earlier drowned at a dam on Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred at Mahazi Dam at around 3pm and the police were able to recover the bodies of the two victims.
National Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
“ZRP reports that 20-year-old Mboneni Mpofu and 38-year-old Thamsanka Sibanda died in Nsenya village, Zombie on 29 January 2024, at around 1500 hours. The two victims, who had allegedly been drinking beer, drowned in Mhazi Dam where they had gone swimming .
He added that the police were able to recover the bodies of the victims. Announce
