The Citizen’s Coalition for Change refutes a statement claiming to have been issued in its name on January 28, 2024 by unknown persons claiming to be the Permanent Committee.
CCC was founded on January 24, 2022 and celebrated its second anniversary just a few days ago. The party did not exist in 2019 and does not have a structure known as the Permanent Committee. The party has not yet held its inaugural conference.
CCC decisions are made by the highest decision-making body; The National Council of Citizens (CNA) with the assistance of regional task forces and district groups.
CCC delegates in Parliament, local authorities, campaigners, members, local leaders, supporters and members of the public are urged to be patient until formal communication on the way forward is made and confirmed.
