Four people are feared dead following a fatal accident involving two transport trucks and a Toyota Sienta which occurred this afternoon near Brayden School, six kilometers from Chigoto along the Harare-Bulawayo Road.
Police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyati could not be reached for comment.
Witnesses selling vegetables along the highway told the Herald that a Toyota Sienta was hit from behind by a truck as the driver reduced speed to allow the car in front of it to turn right onto Brayden School.
The Toyota swerved into the left lane and collided sideways with another transport truck coming from the direction of Harare.
The car was dragged for approximately 60 metres.
Mashonaland West Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Delegation, Marian Chombo, visited the scene where she lamented the negligent driving. Announce
