
A 24-year-old Chitungwiza man lost his car which was stolen after he left it parked outside his girlfriend’s house.
Takudzwa Glevan Chibora of Unit D, Seke, left his blue BMW 318i, with the keys in the ignition, while spending time with his girlfriend.
His girlfriend Netsai Chakuma’s house is nearby To a church in Zingiza 3.
He parked the car around 10 p.m.
When he returned, he found his car and his iPhone 12 PRO was missing.
Police recovered the car the next day, but the phone was still missing.
Acting Harare Provincial Police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Faith Mapisa, confirmed the incident.
“Police recovered the vehicle the next day after it was left lying along Telco Road in Chitungwiza.
“The iPhone 12 PRO mobile phone was not recovered and the vehicle was taken to ZRP St Mary’s,” Ass-Insp Mapisa said.
It remains a mystery why Glivan decided to leave his car keys in the ignition. h metro
