ED, MINISTERS MUST BE BANNED FROM FOREIGN MEDICAL TREATMENT : ZANU PF CANDIDATE newsdzeZimbabweNewsdzeZimbabwe

Zanu PF candidate in the Pilandaba-Tshabalala constituency by-election, Joseph Tshoma, has said that if elected as a Member of Parliament, he will immediately propose a bill prohibiting government ministers, including the president, from traveling abroad for medical treatment.

According to Tshuma, this is the best approach to improving Zimbabwe’s public health system because it will force all individuals, regardless of their status, to seek medical care locally and contribute to the renovation of public hospitals.

The aspiring MP’s remarks coincide with the “deteriorating” situation in Zimbabwe’s public hospitals and healthcare systems, mostly due to insufficient funding which has had a detrimental impact on the availability of medicines and equipment, as well as poor wages for the workforce, further exacerbating the problem. To a truly miserable situation.

“I want to go to parliament and speak for the people. People think that if you go to parliament and talk about issues, now you are anti-ZANU PF or something else. People say to me ‘Choma these things you are saying will get you kicked out of ZANU-PF’ and I say No, my party is there for the people.” “She wants the people to get the best of their country,” Choma said while addressing journalists at the Bulawayo Media Center on Wednesday evening.

Restructuring the country’s public healthcare system is one of the issues that Choma had hoped to address, claiming that he is not afraid to speak on behalf of the people.

“Now I challenge you all that when I go to Parliament, my first speech and my first proposal is to ban all ministers and even the president himself, from going to seek medical help outside the country, I want them to go to public places.” Hospitals. Parirenyatwa and Mpilo hospitals have to do this And rehabilitate him so that no one goes out for treatment. “We should get treatment here,” he said.

“This is how you can fix your country by talking about the real issues. I am not against Zanu PF. Zanu PF does not want a sick person. A sick supporter is useless because he will not vote. We want healthy people. So we want health systems and we want a functioning hospital It has all the medicines we are looking for.”

The Zanu PF candidate claimed there was a tendency to blame the ruling party for failing to deliver supplies, but people who were contracted to deliver medical supplies failed to do so.

“We know that there are some who have been issuing pipe bills and claiming to have supplied medicines but there is no supply at all. We know it, but we do not write about it. Then you say Zanu PF is the reason why there is no medicine in the hospitals,” said Tshoma. “But you know your friend who bought you three pints of beer went to the hospital saying they could provide medicine but they didn’t provide anything.”

“If we want to correct the situation, we have to be honest with each other. Let’s tell each other the truth. That’s how hard it is.”

The aspiring MP revealed that some people in Bulawayo contacted him and advised him that in order to be voted in, he must leave the Zanu National Party.

In response, Chuma said he would not leave Zanu PF because the party gave him courage

“The Zanu PF jacket is what gives me strength just like a fish in water can do all kinds of styles because the strength of that fish is in the water. I am not as strong as Joseph Chuma but I am strong in the system I am in, which is Zanu PF which is the ruling party.”

“So when you release me from the ruling party, I am useless. If you come to me asking for my help, where will I get it when I am Joseph Tshoma, but as Joseph Tshuma of Zanu PF, I will go to my party and say ‘we need this help’. Then my party will By offering assistance, and I will do my part to provide that assistance to you. Site
